One other thing that is good with teaching is that you can encourage enterprise in the classroom. With multimedia I insist on making sure that students understand that nothing will happen unless they make it happen. And that apart from looking for opportunities on the job market, a good stepping stone is to try and set up a freelance.

You can easily direct your students to different agencies within your college or outside the college;
- Make your mark: I have gone there in 2009 with 2 students to podcast (Jono and Leonard). This was an experience for the students, they gave advice to youngters. Make your mark is now enterprise uk
- Cida; supporting entrepreneurial activities of individuals. They help young artist living in Newham, Tower Hamlets, it is worth trying
