Note for FE teachers, office 365 is free only:
If your college is letting you use office 365 to login to your email account, it is most likely that you have access to Note Book for teachers and Office 365 apps. Just log in using the Office 365 homepage, once logged in you can what is available to use. So no need to worry about having office 365 at home to prepare PPT and lesson plans. If you are a freelance teacher; not all colleges give access to the apps, so talk to your course manager.
However installing office 365, might require college credentials (not personal email and details) every time you use it on your computer.
Another option to get office 365 for free, be warned you can’t get it with your personal email address
I can’t make the demo, because they know me, meaning I have been automatically registered with the college I work for.
