Information:
Clement James Centre plan to run a summer carnival arts programme for young people aged 8-18, culminating in participation at Notting Hill Carnival. The workshops will provide an opportunity for young people to come and learn about carnival and work on their creativity through costume design and construction.
Volunteers would be expected to help with the design, creation and decoration of costumes for each young person participating in the carnival. They will also be taking part in song writing, dance and singing workshops and helping to design and making banners to decorate the vehicle that accompanies us on the carnival route.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in a long term project that fully develops young people’s artistic ability. Our Carnival Band relies heavily on volunteers like yourselves to help out and it will make a great difference to the young people and their costumes to have your support

If you would like to volunteer you will need to attend a training session on either Tuesday 28th June 5.30pm – 7pm or
